Last night we went to visit my dad in Chehalis and try and cheer him up and when we got there he noticed that she felt really warm. I took her temp. and it was 103.5! I thought it was wrong because she seemed relatively happy...I took it again and it was the same. So we packed up and my dad took us to the hospital in Centralia. They gave her an antibiotic injection and did a urinalysis. It came back positive. They were able to get her temp down and we went home. Well all night, she just layed in her crib half asleep and whimpered. She woke up with another fever. We called her pediatrician and they rushed us here since she'd only drank 3oz in 12 hours and had only one wet diaper. We got here and her temp was back up to 103. The got an IV started (I cried the whole time!) and got some fluids in here. The dumb thing is the meds she got last night don't work. Apparently this bacteria is resistant to them. We had to completely start from scratch. We'll be here at least for two days...who knows after that. It's so sad to see her like this. She's normally very bubbly and happy. She just wants to lay on my chest. She can't even cry...it comes out as more of a whimper. Joe's mom came after a little while because I was all by myself and losing it...I went to go get some food while she sat with Bella. On my way I stopped and bought her a "wooby" When I was in the elevator I looked down at it and just lost it. I completely broke down. It was a little embarassing. I'm sure everyone in there thought I was crazy. I'll post more as we know more. At the moment our biggest focus is keeping her fevers down.

I'm so sorry! Hope Bella feels better soon. I can sort-of sympathize. I have been in and out of the hospital myself for three days. No fun! Get well soon!
